Support Group
Our Support Group is available to support and encourage the entire family as they faithfully home educate. As a family oriented network we feel our ministry should not only support the parent but the entire family including the children. Our Support Group includes:
Our Family Ministry provides opportunities which include the entire family such as our Family Gatherings, Ski Trip, and Campouts. Special opportunities for homeschooling families vary from year to year depending on the interest of our members. We believe that each family is unique and the best way to learn from one another is to spend time and share with one another.
Our Parent Support Ministry provides opportunities for the parents to support and encourage one another. Homeschool is not always easy. There are as many ways to homeschool as there are parents and no one curriculum is perfect for everyone. WNHEN provides several resources for our parents to take advantage of such as the Curriculum Library, Forums, Parent Classes and Meetings.
Our Student Ministry encourages friendships among our homeschool youth. Our Cooperative Classes, Field Trips and Student Council are just a few ways our youth spend time together. Student opportunities are endless.
The benefits of the Western Nebraska Home Educators Network are many. Our heart's pray is whether you are a longtime member or brand new, you will be blessed because of the ministry provided by our network.
