Parent Support Ministry
Our Parent Support Ministry provides opportunities for the parents to support and encourage one another. Homeschool is not always easy. There are as many ways to homeschool as there are parents and no one curriculum is perfect for everyone. WNHEN provides several resources for our parents to take advantage of such as the Curriculum Library, Forums, Parent Classes and Meetings.
Curriculum is available through our library to help parents in their search for textbooks, distributors, magazines, homeschooling books, and unit studies. Textbooks can be checked out for an entire year at a time. Parents are encouraged to check out the library before purchasing books for the new school year.
Graduation and Promotion Ceremonies are held for Kindergarten, Eighth Grade and High School Seniors. Parents along with their graduates help plan and organize this event, tailoring it to fit their own needs and unique style.
Homeschool Laws vary from state to state. Our Network Coordinator is here to assist those in need. Please do keep in mind that any information distributed is not intended as legal advice.
The Membership Directory is a confidential listing of members name. Addresses, emails and phone numbers to be used for the benefit of WNHEN members. The Membership Directory is NOT distributed or sold to any outside identity. Outside identities who wish to distribute information to our members are asked to send that information to WNHEN.
Monthly Newsletter called the Homeschool Gazette is available to our Membership. It is printed year round, June 1 through May 31.
